  • We use infrared heat in our studio, which is an “internal heat” that helps heat your body without adding humidity to the room. Heated classes help to warm your body quickly and maximize the effectiveness of a stretch or pose. In sculpt & vinyasa classes heat is used to build sweat & intensity. In yin & restorative classes, it is used to help you safely move into deeper stretches. Infrared heat is considered healing heat and warms your body instead of the surrounding air. This is what makes our studio unique as we are using spa quality heat. If you prefer non heated, join us for a foundations class or community class outside!

  • Every Wednesday join our team as we partner with lululemon and The Shops at Wailea to bring yoga to the Maui Community. This is a complimentary ALL LEVELS vinyasa flow, gifted by our studio every Wednesday at 5:30pm.

She studied and received her RYT-200 in 2018 and offers public and private yoga classes for all levels online and in person.

Jenna’s classes are influenced by Baptiste, Forrest, and Anusara styles of yoga and focus on connection, clearing stagnant energy, cleansing breaths, heart opening, and feeling into what’s present. She enjoys incorporating guided meditation and sound healing into her classes, as well as singing to her students in savasana.

Jenna’s goal for her students is to experience deeper body awareness and to feel the sweet connection between their mind, body, and soul. Her own yoga journey has helped her in countless ways, but the acceptance and love of her true self is her most valued benefit.

Jenna hosts Community Mindfulness circles across Maui and is also a certified Y12SR (The Yoga of 12 Step Recovery.) She enjoys holding space for community members interested in mindfulness and also those impacted by addiction.

Lauren’s love for yoga is strongly rooted in breath awareness and the synchronization of breath to movement. Although a lover of arm balances and challenging asanas, Lauren aims to bring a deeper awareness to the breath, uniting the mind and body, and finding flow. When she’s not on her mat you can find her surfing, rock climbing, or creating art through various mediums.

Our Background

A little of our background

Island Power Yoga was inspired into existence by the strong need for a community to practice yoga in.

After the year of 2020 and so much separation a place that allows individuals to maintain autonomy yet be part of a collective energy that thrives together is a foundational piece to our studio. A private practice is important but having a space, community and guidance in your practice encourages more growth, strength and unity.

Island Power Yoga is creating a safe and aesthetically pleasing space for individuals who enjoy using yoga and fitness as a way to connect and stay healthy together. Our studio offers heated and non-heated Power Vinyasa, Sculpt and fitness classes. The team is made up of Registered Yoga Teachers who hold 200 hour or more trainings. We provide consistent and quality classes that are challenging and fun.

We want to provide a clean, safe and beautiful space for students to practice in. Providing a safe space to let your mind relax and practice in, is healing. The studio follows a zero tolerance sick policy, please do not come in and practice if you are sick. This is to serve all the members in our community.

We appreciate your choice to support the studio and what we are building for this wonderful group of yogis that we have grown to love so much. - Aloha The Island Power Community.
